Swami Parthasarathy
A. Parthasarathy, popularly known as Swamiji, is a pre-eminent philosopher and founder of the Vedanta Academy.
He is acclaimed as the greatest living exponent of Vedanta, the ancient philosophy of India. In a life of selfless service over six decades, Swamiji’s exceptional contribution has been the translation of subtle philosophical themes into a practical technique of living. An exercise that has brought about mental solace and material prosperity in society.
Sunandaji
Sunandaji, daughter-disciple of philosopher A. Parthasarathy, has been studying and practicing Vedanta under his guidance for over three decades. Her discourses focus on the application of the Bhagavad Gita in today’s world.
Her program, “Manual for Life”, is a discourse in English crafted for modern audiences. For the past twenty years, she has addressed diverse gatherings across four continents, earning acclaim for her clear and powerful presentation of ancient wisdom.
Sunandaji is a senior administrator and trustee of the Vedanta Cultural Foundation, a charitable trust recognised by the Government of India as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation. The Foundation also established the Vedanta Academy near Mumbai, a unique residential institution for Vedanta education. She is also the Managing Trustee of Vedanta Institute Madras.
“All effort ought to be directed to seek and find the eternal truths of life.”
